Sally Morgan

Themes explored during ARIM thus far: 

single mothering, labour, care, invisibility, weight, loss, grief, mourning, failure, embodying place, domesticity, nostalgia and attachment.

Playing with:  

a large piece of fabric to create sculptural and biomorphic forms, performative documents and objects (sticky notes, resumes, typewriter, fabric, costumes, hair), photography and self-portraiture, documentation of the everyday, community- based participatory research, studies with Vangeline France and Butoh principles, and collaborating with my daughter on directives and suggestive movement solos.
